In 1995, Kay thought she'd like to learn how to quilt. Unfortunately, there wasn't a shop in Windom to help her learn. (How was the town surviving?)
After talking with her husband, who owned and operated a feed mill, he offered to give up his office to remedy this problem, and Prairie Quilting was born!
The quilt shop now houses a wide variety of quilt patterns and books, quilting notions, rulers, and approximately 3000 bolts of fabric.

Monday - Friday:
9:00 am - 5:00pm
Saturday:
9:00am - 12:00pm
